Orbital Net Ethernet First Mile (EFM) is ideal for businesses that need higher capacity services than broadband, but may find it cost prohibitive to go for a fully dedicated fibre leased line.

Orbital EFM is available with speeds up to 20Mb with identical upload and download speeds.

To help reduce your overheads and need for in-house skills and resources, we provide a fully managed service, including installation and all hardware.

If an outage does occur, businesses are covered by a Service Level Agreement which guarantees that a resolution will be achieved within a six-hour window.

Ethernet First Mile

EFM offers the latest in connectivity with unlimited usage, no additional bandwidth charges and fail-safe connectivity.

EFM is delivered over multiple copper pairs so install times are quicker compared to other services such as a Fibre Leased Line. Should there be a fault on any of the copper pairs, EFM does not drop the service like traditional single pair delivery would. This more resilient architecture for last mile delivery allows the service to remain live, at a reduced speed, until the problem is fixed, ensuring the impact on your business is minimised.
