The Opportunity:

Vfast Parks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Development Manager to focus on the growth of our successful UK Holiday market sector. This role plays a crucial part. The BDM will work to drive our strategy for growth, expand our reach within the markets, and ensure our clients receive innovative, resilient, and viable telecommunications services for their own business, customers and holiday makers. 

As a subject matter expert, you will have significant experience of working to deliver ISP services to B2B Customers or experience delivering solutions to the UK Holiday Market. With extensive experience working in collaborative teams across sales, technical, engineering, and operations, you will be prospect and customer facing  with the ability to articulate commercial offerings with professionalism and enthusiasm. The role will require a tenacity for lead generation, through to close of opportunity focusing on key sectors and strategic acquisition logos.  

Within the role you will:

  • Identifying new business opportunities – researching and identifying potential new clients and partnerships through prospecting and networking. 
  • Closing deals – responsible for hitting sales targets month on month through the new business opportunities identified and the relationships you build. 
  • Customer relationship management – building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with new customers.  
  • Collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, delivering successful outreach and follow up. Ensuring all in and outbound created leads are followed up with urgency. 
  • Product knowledge – possess an understanding of the product and service offerings and effectively communicate the value to customers. Developing tailored solutions that align with customer objectives, budgets and constraints, detailing any assumptions. 
  • Proposal development – creating comprehensive and compelling proposal, which may include technical specifications, pricing and potential implementation timelines, focusing on the outcome required.  

Qualifications and Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in new business development within the telecoms sector or UK Holiday Market. 
  • Track record of preparing solutions and costs to meet customer expectations within budgets. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical language for clients. 
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and clients. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. 
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service. 
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. 
  • Ability to develop effective working relationships across internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team. 
  • UK driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
